Fort Henry Guard Day Camp
Fort Henry Guard Day Camp immerses youth ages 9-12 into 1860’s garrison life at Fort Henry National Historic Site through an educational living history adventure shaped by play, friendship, and teamwork. Campers will get active all week participating in historic-based team activities, developing practical skills, and having fun with new friends.
Eligibility and Notification of Acceptance
Campers 9-12 years of age as of July 31 are eligible to apply to Fort Henry Guard Day Camp. Applications are reviewed to ensure they are complete, and that applicants meet the eligibility criteria. All criteria being met, applicants are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful applicants will be notified by April 2020 at which time they will receive a confirmation letter. The remaining spaces will be filled up to the first day of each camp session.
Fort Henry Guard Day Camp has a Camp Director on-site responsible for the supervision of staff, campers, and programming. From drop-off to pick-up campers are supervised by Fort Henry staff on a maximum staff-to-camper ratio of 1 leader to 10 campers.
2020 Program Fee and Dates
The program cost is $250.00 plus HST per participant and is due upon notification that your child has been accepted. Of this amount, $100 is non-refundable. The entire fee is non-refundable on the first day of camp.
Session 1: July 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
Session 2: July 20, 21, 22, 23, 24
Session 3: July 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
