Season Kick off!!

Wednesday June 18th
7:30 p.m.

Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada heats up Wednesday evenings throughout July and August with the World Famous, award winning Sunset Ceremonies! The Fort Henry Guard Drums, Drill Squad and Artillery Detachment present an hour and a half interpretive story of 1860s military music, precision drill and big-bang artillery manoeuvres, including a mock battle! The show ends with a spectacular fireworks finale! The show is performed entirely by college and university students, sure to invoke patriotism and pride for all who experience it. The Fort Henry Guard carry on a world-famous tradition that began on July 20th, 1955.

Be sure to reserve and pre-pay for a full sit down dinner served by Solider Servants in the officer's mess or to ask on site about a casual pre-performance open air barbeque, in the lower fort both provided by Jessup Food and Heritage.

The Garrison Stores are open before and after the performance so guests can take home a souvenir or gift of an unforgettable evening.
