Loyalist Fifes and Drums Day

A must see group; the Loyalist Fifes and Drums will be playing again this year with drill and music from the United Empire Loyalists period. This group will entertain all day long with their historical reenactment in the Fort Henry square.

Come visit the Fort to see the Brockville Infantry reenacting military of the 1860s in Upper Canada. The Company has performed to crowds in many high profile events throughout Ontario and performs an accurate and exciting historical demonstration of the original Brockville Infantry in 1862. This is an event you dont want to miss!

National Historic Site is proud to host the 25th Anniversary North American Police Equestrian Championships. This event features mounted units from across North America as they participate in Law Enforcement Challenges. Equestrian events will take place throughout the day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday at 1:00 pm the RCMP Musical Ride, a variety of intricate figures and cavalry drill choreographed to music will be performed by a full troop of 32 riders and horses. On Saturday, a special evening demonstration will bring together the mounted units in performance combined with music and drill from Law Enforcement groups.
