Group Tour Information

Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada, an authentic 19th century British military fortress, invites your group the opportunity to experience Ontario's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Majestic Fort Henry is set high above the Kingston harbour on Lake Ontario, the gateway to the St. Lawrence River, the Rideau Canal.

Start your visit at the new Fort Henry Discovery Centre. Officially opened in Spring 2012, the Discovery Centre is a 10,000 sq.ft. high tech facility featuring interactive experience that shares stories not told inside the walls of the Fort.  Meet historic characters who shaped the history of Canada, hear about military strategies and experience guest-triggered interactive exhibits that will entertain and educate guests. The Discovery Centre also features a 200 seat meeting/banquet hall and a large, new retail store. 

As your guests pass the Sentry guarding the citadel entrance, they will experience life set in the year of Canada's Confederation, 1867. Set your watch by our Noon Gun while men and women interpret their daily chores of the era. See the Fort Henry Guard perform military music, drill and artillery practices during the day and in grand style every Wednesday and Saturday evening in July and August at the World Heritage Sunset Ceremonies.

Adult/Senior Group (ages 13+):
$14.40 per person.  Includes visit to Fort Henry's new Discovery Centre.
Youth Group (ages 6-12):
$8.65 per youth. Includes visit to Fort Henry's new Discovery Centre.
Children 5 years and under are free.

Fort Henry Discovery Centre only:
Self-guided tour:  $5.65 per person (5 years of age and under free)
Open Daily: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We suggest you allow 40 minutes to complete the tour.

Guards and Games - PDF

A minimum of 15 people required over the age of 19. Your clients will receive a complimentary guided tour of Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada. Then off to OLG Casino Thousand Islands for a $10 slot play package with a 3 hour minimum stay. Package reservations require 24 hours notice prior to arrival.
