Kingston, Ontario – Empire Productions, the St. Lawrence Parks Commission and 93.5 Country FM are pleased to announce another feature event in the Fort Henry Concert Series. Country music will rock historic Fort Henry in Kingston with a concert under the stars on Friday, August 9, 2013.

The concert will showcase a blend of Canada's top country stars and rising stars. Multiple award winning superstar Johnny Reid returns to the Limestone City along with fellow award winners Doc Walker. Newcomers Tim Hicks, Autumn Hill and Kingston’s own Rob Carnegie will complete what will be one of the finest all Canadian country music lineups ever assembled.  It will be one of the largest shows to be hosted at Fort Henry in recent years.

Johnny Reid is a Scottish-born, Canadian-raised Country soul singer, a superb songwriter, and an incredible entertainer.  A multiple award winner, Johnny's concerts are like being invited to his home.   At a time when many artists are finding it difficult to build lasting ties with listeners, the Canadian bred, Johnny Reid commands a degree of loyalty from his audience that deepens with every record.  His hits are endless ... "Darlin'",  "Out Of The Blue", "Thank You", "Dance With Me", "Today I'm Gonna Change The World", "Let's Go Higher" and many more.

Doc Walker is one of the most recognized Canadian country music groups, with more than 20 Top 10 singles to their name. The release of their newest single "Put It Into Drive" continues to showcase their hit making ability. Fan favourites include ... "Rocket Girl", "The Show Is Free", "Driving With The Brakes On", "Country Girl" ... and more.

Country music's hottest new star, Tim Hicks, soared into the Top 10 at Country Radio in less than 8 weeks, with his first single "Get By".  A crowd pleasing live performer, his music is accessible, energetic and ambitious.

Mike Robbins and Tareya Green form an energetic, harmony rich duo known as Autumn Hill.  Their debut single "Anything At All" reached Top 10 in Country Radio and continues to climb.

Kingston's own, Rob Carnegie has shared the stage with top Country names such as George Canyon and Dean Brody. He has built a strong following of fans, helping him define his place in Country music today.  Rob has just released his fifth single to Country Radio.
