Fort Henry Discovery Centre

The new, state-of-the-art Discovery Centre, located at Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada, in beautiful Kingston, Ontario, is the city's newest and most unique venue option. Opened in May of 2012, the breathtaking building was built to enhance visitor experiences as well as offer a modern venue surrounded by rich history to host a variety of functions.

The 10,000 square foot building is located atop Fort Henry Hill, nestled between the historic citadel and guest parking lot, offering panoramic views of Cedar Island, Cathcart Tower and Deadman's Bay. The innovative centre feautures interactive exhibits with projection and touch screen technologies, a new retail store, guest cafe, as well as a 2 200 square foot Great Hall with adjoining two-tier outdoor deck (1600 square feet) and tent area (80 by 160 feet), ideal for any event. The Great Hall has a capacity for 160 guests in a banquet capacity, and 200 guests with a stand up reception. The Great Hall is also equipped with ceiling mounted projector and screen, sound system, and various internet capabilities.

Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada
