2007 saw the opening of the new UNESCO exhibit, highlighting the role of Fort Henry National Historic Site with the building of the Rideau Canal. 2008 will see the completion of all museum cases for the exhibit known as "Firepower, The Firearms and Weapons of the British Soldier." Currently located in Soldiers' Room # 7, this exhibit will eventually be moved to Soldiers' Room # 10 as other exhibits are updated.
