Powder Magazine

At the northeast corner of the parade square, in the east wall, you will find a large room with shuttered windows. This is the powder magazine, which could hold 1,250 kegs of powder. The magazine is the strongest room in the fort, and also does not have any rifle loopholes. The doors and shutters are covered with copper, which does not create sparks, and the nails in the floor are wooden, in order to further reduce the chance of an accidental spark causing an explosion.
