Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your time at Kingston’s premier beer festival.

Event Details

Date and Time: Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Last entry is at 7:00 PM. No re-entry permitted.

Location: Fort Henry, 1 Fort Henry Drive in Kingston, Ontario

Beverage Tickets

Vendors pour 6 oz craft beer samples in exchange for 1 beverage ticket. Some premium drinks may require 2 tickets per sample. Beverage tickets are $3 each (HST included) and are non-refundable. Buy up to 10 tickets at a time ($30 = 10 samples).

Ticket sales close at 7:30 PM.
Last chance to redeem tickets: 7:45 PM.

What to Bring

✓ Sun protection: Sun glasses, hats, sunscreen
✓ Something to sit on: Lawn chairs, towels, blankets
✓ Reusable (empty) water bottles to hydrate at our water stations
✓ Cash, debit, and credit cards
✓ Your furry friends! Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome to join the fun

Getting Here

✓ Free parking on site. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight.
✗ Please no drinking and driving!

What to Leave at Home

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, we ask that you:
✗ Do not bring outside food and drinks (including alcohol)
✗ Weapons
✗ Illegal substances
✗ Edibles

FAQ; Am I permitted to bring my own alcohol to the event under Ontario’s recent Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) regulations?
A: No. Bringing outside alcohol onto the event grounds is not permitted. All alcoholic beverages consumed at the event must be purchased from authorized vendors within the licensed festival area, in accordance with provincial regulations and event licensing requirements.

Tickets and Entry

Tickets for the YGK Craft Beer Fest are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is an all-ages event, so families are welcome! Guests aged 19 and over will need a wristband to drink. Children aged 0-4 can enter for free but still require a ticket. If you’re not drinking, there’s still plenty to enjoy with non-alcoholic beverages, live music, delicious local eats, artisan vendors, and lawn games.

Government-issued photo ID is required for entry. Expect a quick security & bag check at the gate.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. No food or drinks in the smoking/vaping zone. Non-compliance = immediate removal.

Accessibility Information

Fort Henry is committed to providing an accessible environment for all guests. Please note that YGK Craft Beer Fest takes place on a hilly and grassy terrain. The venue offers accessible parking and restrooms. Additionally, pathways and event areas are designed to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices. Wheelchairs (limited quantity) are available upon request. If you require any specific accommodations or assistance, please contact the event organizers in advance to ensure your needs are met.
