Craft beer, spirits, ciders and artisanal sodas will be poured June 10 at Fort Henry
Nearly 30 breweries will be showcasing their best brews of summer on Saturday, June 10 at YGK Craft Beer Fest at Fort Henry. The outdoor waterfront festival, presented by Luca Andolfatto Real Estate Group, will have a range of beer, spirit cider and soda makers pouring a selection of their wares.
Hometown YGK favourites include Daft Brewing, Fine Balance Brewing Company, Something In The Water Brewing, Skeleton Park Brewery, Spearhead Brewing Company and Hardway Cider. Nearby Harrowsmith Brewing Co. and Mackinnon Brothers Brewing Co. will participate.
New to YGK Craft Beer Fest are Haven Brewing Company (Peterborough), Humble Beginnings Brewing Co. (Ingleside), King’s Lock Distillery (Johnstown), Fogorig Brewing (Campbellford), Lake of Bays Brewing Company (Baysville) and Side Launch Brewing Company (Collingwood).
Among those travelling the furthest to join the summer kick-off waterfront festival are Collective Arts Brewing (Hamilton), and Blackfly Beverage Company (London). Other breweries from across Southern Ontario include Cameron’s Brewing (Oakville), Rice Lake Hard Cider (Cobourg)Matron Fine Beer (Bloomfield), Meyers Creek Brewing Company (Belleville), Midtown Brewing Company (Prince Edward County).
From Ottawa and area will be Orleans Brewing Co. and Broadhead Brewing Company (Orleans), Dairy Distillery (Almonte). Also joining from North of Kingston are Kick and Push Brewing (Sharbot Lake), Perth Brewing Company, and non-alcoholic Loon Kombucha (Perth).
In addition to craft breweries, the event will feature an array of food from local vendors and musical performances. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be offered.
Tickets, which include a commemorative sampling glass, are available now. A ‘Hopped Up’ ticket is the premium way for 19+ to experience YGK Craft Beer Fest, with awesome perks to elevate the experience like the fast-entry line, the “Hopped Up Zone” is presented by Fractal Workspace with indoor lounge and washrooms, patio access for the best views of the event, complimentary snacks and artisanal sodas, and an exclusive token stand to beat the lines.
