Passport to the Past holders are entitled to:

  • 15% discount off regularly-priced retail merchandise at the SLPC operated retail stores at Upper Canada Village, Fort Henry, Kingston Pen, Crysler Marina, and Upper Canada Golf Course; not valid for gift card or fuel purchases.

  • Unlimited admittance for the pass holder only, all other vehicle occupants must pay applicable rate, to the Parks day-use and beach areas (Mille Roches, Woodlands, Brown’s Bay, Glengarry, Farran, and Crysler Beach)

  • 50% off admission to Upper Canada Village or Fort Henry daytime core programming from May to September for up to two accompanying guests each visit


Premium Passport to the Past holders are entitled to:

Annual passes and season memberships are valid for the regular operating season and may not be used for admittance to special fee-based events, evening concerts, or programs unless otherwise stated. Admittance applies to cardholder only unless otherwise stated.

Annual passes and season memberships are not transferable and not valid without a photo ID and may not be redeemable for cash under any circumstances.

Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers set forth by SLPC. If the advertised discount exceeds the percentage discount, the advertised rate will be honoured.

A Haunted Movie Experience

This October, embrace the chills and thrills of the season as Fort Henry brings back Terror Tuesdays! Every Tuesday night, join us for a selection of fan-favourite horror movies, screened in the eerie ambiance of the lower fort. Guided Tours

  • English: September 2 - 29: 50-minute tours depart every hour from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The last guided tour departs at 3:30 p.m.

Main Season Daily Schedule



Once inside the wooden gates, visitors enter the realm of 19th century military life, experience guided tours, scenic views, musical performances and precision military demonstrations by the Fort Henry Guard, a highly disciplined group of student recruits trained as British soldiers from 1867. You will also see people representing the civilian population of the Fort as schoolteachers and soldiers' wives.  

Guided Tours

  • English: May 18 – June 30: 50-minute tours depart every half hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • English: July 1 - September 2: 50-minute tours depart every half hour from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and at 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • French: 50-minute guided tours depart daily from the Upper Fort at 10:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 3:45 p.m.

Military Training

  • Throughout the day on the Parade Square in the lower Fort.*

Artillery Firing Demonstrations 

  • Artillery firing takes place at 12:00 p.m., 3:10 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. in the Lower Fort.*

Rifle Firing Demonstrations

  • Live rifle firing in the Lower Fort: 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m.*

Music of the Regiment

  • Musical demonstration in the Lower Fort: 12:45 p.m.

Women of the Regiment

  • Demonstration by soldiers' wives in the Lower Fort: 1:00 p.m.

Children’s Muster Parades

  • Children can dress up and learn to march as soldiers, earning a certificate as a Private in the British army. Sessions at 11:15 am, 1:15 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

Victorian Schoolroom Lessons

  • Attend a school session with the Schoolmistress and learn about life for children and soldiers at the Fort. Sessions every half hour from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Don’t be late!

Daily Garrison Parade

  • From July 1 - September 2, sessions are from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Lower Fort*

Modifications

If you are unable to make your scheduled entry time for regular day programming, your original ticket will be honoured throughout the day when presented to admissions. Please note this does not apply to special events or pre-booked group tours.
