Passport to the Past holders are entitled to:

  • Unlimited admittance to Upper Canada Village and Fort Henry day program

  • 15% discount off regularly-priced retail merchandise at the SLPC operated retail stores at Upper Canada Village, Fort Henry, Kingston Pen, Crysler Marina, and Upper Canada Golf Course; not valid for gift card or fuel purchases.

  • Unlimited admittance for the pass holder only, all other vehicle occupants must pay applicable rate, to the Parks day-use and beach areas (Mille Roches, Woodlands, Brown’s Bay, Glengarry, Farran, and Crysler Beach)

  • 50% off admission to Upper Canada Village or Fort Henry daytime core programming from May to September for up to two accompanying guests each visit


Premium Passport to the Past holders are entitled to:

  • Entitled to all of the benefits included with Passport to the Past, plus . . .

  • Unlimited admission to the Upper Canada Village's Alight at Night and Pumpkinferno programs

  • Unlimited admission to Fort Henry's Pumpkinferno

Annual passes and season memberships are valid for the regular operating season and may not be used for admittance to special fee-based events, evening concerts, or programs unless otherwise stated. Admittance applies to cardholder only unless otherwise stated.

Annual passes and season memberships are not transferable and not valid without a photo ID and may not be redeemable for cash under any circumstances.

Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers set forth by SLPC. If the advertised discount exceeds the percentage discount, the advertised rate will be honoured.

Step Inside Canada's Living History

Once inside the wooden gates, visitors enter the realm of 19th century military life, experience guided tours, scenic views, musical performances and precision military demonstrations by the Fort Henry Guard, a highly disciplined group of student recruits trained as British soldiers from 1867. You will also see people representing the civilian population of the Fort as schoolteachers and soldiers' wives.

Fall Programming Schedule

Guided Tours

From September 3 to 28, explore Fort Henry with 50-minute guided tours offered in English and French.

English Tours: Hourly from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Final tour at 3:30 p.m.

French Tours: Starts at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. from the Upper Fort.

Rifle Firing Demonstrations

Experience the thrill of artillery firing demonstrations at the Lower Fort at:

11:05 a.m., 1:05 p.m., 3:05 p.m., and 4:05 p.m. (weather permitting)

Modifications

If you are unable to make your scheduled entry time for regular day programming, your original ticket will be honoured throughout the day when presented to admissions. Please note this does not apply to special events or pre-booked group tours.

Support Persons/Caregivers

Companions are allowed free entry with and without an Access 2 card. Tours are available in both English and French upon request.




Service Animals

Only service dogs with valid paperwork are permitted. Support animals and other pets are not allowed.




Wheelchair Access

Wheelchairs can be requested on-site for guest use. If you will require the use of one of our wheelchairs during your visit, please advise our admissions staff upon arrival. Issued on a first come basis. ID must be left with admissions until it is returned.




Accessibility Parking

Ten (10) accessible parking spots near Fort Henry's entrance and two (2) near the Great Hall.






Accessible Site

Seating is available at various points throughout the site. Balcony level and ramparts are only accessible via stairs. iPad is available  to view where sites are not accessible (Reverse Fire Chambers).



Accessibility Shuttles

Accessibility shuttles are available during evening events like Tattoo and Sunset Ceremonies to transport guests from the entrance right to their seat in the Lower Fort.



Accessible Washrooms

All on-site washrooms are accessible in both the Advanced Battery and Lower Fort.
