Cannonball Crush is an exciting and limit-testing 5K race with 20 obstacle which take strength, determination, and team spirit to overcome. So take on Kingston’s most unique obstacle course where novice to advanced competitors rise to the challenge and CRUSH IT!

Cannonball Crush is a 5 km race held at Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario, featuring 20 obstacles designed to challenge strength, determination, and team spirit. The course combines modern and historical themed obstacles, incorporating elements such as climbing, crawling, and jumping. The race is timed, but teams and racers can complete it at their own pace.

Day of registration is not available.
Deadline for registration and changes is May 31, 2024.
At the time of registration, you will select a start time (available in 15-minute increments). This is your start time for the day of the race.
Racers must be 18 years or older on race day to participate.
This race is designed for all fitness levels. If you are over the age of 18, you are welcome to compete! We encourage everyone to try to conquer Fort Henry as part of a team or solo! Spectators are welcome to cheer on the racers at the start and finish line.
Every racer will receive a Cannonball Crush memorabilia item, professional chip timing, entry to YGK Craft Beer Fest after the race, free parking, and bragging rights! Race chip times will be displayed after the race via results kiosks and QR codes. Results will also be posted online.
Refunds & Changes to Registration
This is a non-refundable rain or shine event.
If you or a teammate are unable to participate, you still have the option to collect your race kit at a later date of your choosing, or to transfer your registration to another individual. The final date for registration changes is May 31, 2024.

What to Wear and Bring
Complimentary water and granola bars will be available at the end of the race for racers.
A water bottle refill station will also be located at the Start Line.
Running shoes are a must. Many racers and teams come dressed in costumes, so feel free to dress up however you want! Please note that you will get muddy and wet, so dress accordingly.
No bag checks. Please secure your valuables in your car or should be left at home.
Spectators & Awards
Spectators of all ages are welcome and encouraged with no addition fee. There will be spectator zones with great views of the action.
After the race, let’s celebrate at YGK Craft Beer Fest on the hill at Fort Henry. Spectators are invited to purchase a ticket to YGK Craft Beer Fest, taking place after the races on the hill at Fort Henry! Race participants receive complimentary admission and guests can purchase tickets online.
Yes! Awards will be given to the top three fastest individual runners in each gender category. In addition, the top three fastest teams and the team with the best costume will also be awarded. Winners will be announced on Cannonball Crush social media pages. Award winners can pick up medals/trophies at Fort Henry or can be mailed for those living out of town.
Post Race Celebration at YGK Craft Beer Fest
Racers receive one complimentary ticket to YGK Craft Beer Fest in their race kit, which must be kept securely as replacements are not provided. Redeem the ticket at the festival entrance gate between 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Food, artisan wares, and beverage tokens can be purchased inside. For more details, click here.
Parking
Parking is free in the main parking lot beside Fort Henry’s Great Hall located at 4 Fort Henry Drive, Kingston.
